2004-04-26 - 4:03 p.m. Current Song: Tremor Christ, Pearl Jam The weekend came and went in the usual whirlwind of work, drink, argue, succumb, sleep, awaken, curse, laugh, work, drink, resolve, sleep, exist. Current song: The Lemon Song, Led Zeppelin The good news I suppose is that as of this weekend I'm officially past the halfway point as far as my monetary goal goes. Do I really have the courage to uproot? Yes. I keep worrying about what I might be leaving behind... My mind has been wondering quite a bit lately. I'm wondering if I have some temporary form of ADD. I wonder if perhaps there's something I should do about... I like Quiznos. My parents are coming to visit in a few weeks. They haven't been here since I faked my graduation a few months back. Their purpose is to "cut the cord" so to speak. As it is, I'm practically 95% independent. I already pay for everything, as I have quite a while now. The only small details left are transferring titles and insurance into my own name rather than sending checks to my parents. So Kathy's first born has finally grown up. The Beatle's Tribute gigs have been going over very well each week. A typical Thursday at Cody's usually averages only about 30-45 people. But since the Taxmen started playing two weeks ago, we've had 138 and 110 people at both of our shows respectively. Current Song: Remember Me, British Sea Power My piano skills are finally coming along to where I've always wanted them to be. Something about the comfort level of this band in terms of doing your own thing and being able to make mistakes has really reopened some creative conduits for me. Here comes summer, should I give the demo one more try? Haha, Now's as good a time tostartagain. I need a short vacation. Nothing to exotic or extended...Just long enough to feel like I got a break from this breakneck pace. And I'd like to have a romantic fling with a random woman during this vacation. And her name has to be something unusual like Jade or Chantall. No wait, the only Chantall's I've ever known were fat and mean. And babysitters. Current Song: No Other One, Weezer.
