An imaginary encounter on a fall afternoon at the local Quiznos.

Hey. What's kickin? Oh. Ummmm, regular smoked turk...yeah, you know, the one I always get. Right, everything on it.

So anywho, do you have a minute? Cool, well I just wanted to say hi and thank you for making my Quiznos subs perfect every single time. Just kidding, I really wanted to say hi and see if you want to go get lunch sometime. Maybe at Subway? Haha, I know, I know, I'm a dork.

Anyway, I remember seeing you for the first time last Winter, around the time Quiznos first opened. I couldn't take my eyes off of you. I guess that's most likely because I have to make eye contact when ordering and whatnot, but I'm sure alot of it also has to do with the fact that you're the spitting image of an ex girlfriend of mine, minus the sour face. That was a compliment I promise.

So anyways, as I was saying, there's something about your smile that's driven me to finally say hi and introduce myself. Oh wait, I haven't done the latter yet have I?

I'm David...Dave...whatever. Nice to meet ya finally.

You know, to be honest, I wasn't sure how old you were until today. In fact my old roomate and I used to come in and he'd give me shit because he was convinced you were in high school. But I cleverly deduced that this was not the case. I mean, you disappeared the week after Mizzou's classes let out, and then you were gone the entire summer. (Trust me, it had a minor impact on my life.)

Then you magically reappeared just two days ago, about a week before classes resumed. Thus, I've deduced you're a sophmore or junior at Mizzou or perhaps Stephen's (please don't be a lesbian) and you're working at Quiznos to pay the bills.

No. I'm not a stalker. Unless you're into that kind of thing? Just kidding. Anywho, I know I'm holding up the line, and my sub is starting to burn in the oven...no it's ok don't remake it, I like it just the way it is.

So yeah, maybe sometime we'll do that lunch thing? Riiiight. Ok, so I'll see ya around then.
