Dane Cook reminds me that diving into a pool is a whole bunch of fun... people love drawing attention to their dive, but once you kersplash and sink to the bottom, your first instinct is "Get me the fuck out of here! I don't want to die in the abyss!"

Hello friends, after a couple of months of desperate surface searching, wondering if I was resigned to suffocating via dark, black, water rushing through nostrils and mouth, I have broken free of an icy deathgrip and blasted through the placid division between dark water and clear sky.

So as I bob in place, treading water for the time being, I wonder what's next for me?

These things come in 3's. And I have wrestled with, grappled, fought, sank fingernails, teeth into and torn with what little strength afforded me... just to set things right, to make things like they used to be.

Depression, no thanks. Motivation. Yes, that's the key.

Fuck yes.
